JK Police Constable Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10th and 12th class in the science stream from high school. See the notice pdf for additional details.
Age Limit: Applicants age must be 18 to 28 years and should born between 01.01.1996 to 01.01.2006.
Selection Process
1. Written Test – The Examination will consist of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions. The questions will be set in English Language only. There will be Negative Marking for each wrong answer to the extent of one-fourth of marks assigned to that question.
2. Physical Standard Test (PSD) – The candidates shall be shortlisted for appearing in the physical standard test on the basis of written test.
3. Physical Endurance Test (PED) – After PSD applicants will go through PED test.
4. Document Verfication – Selected candidates documents verification will be done in this round.
5. Medical Exam – The seledted candidates, with reference to the vacancies, wll be medically
examined to assess their physical and medical fitness.
JKSSB Police Constable Application Fee 2024
General (UR) category candidates have to pay Rs. 700 (seven hundred only). For candidates belonging to the SC, ST-1, ST-2, and EWS categories, the fee payable shall be Rs. 600. Fees can be paid only online via net banking, credit, or debit cards.
